Dr. Dilipbhai M. Patel been teaching Elect. Engg. at the Polytechnic College of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for last 28 yrs. A diploma holder in Industrial Electronics, he graduated in Elect. Engg. also from MSU. Similarly after his M.E. Electronic Engg. He did his Ph.D also from Ashwood University USA. Dr. D.M.Patel joined the Polytechnic college of esteemed MSU as a Faculty in1980 and rose to the chair the office of Vice Principal. As a Vice-Principal and also as Director in Extended Dip. Courses he officiated as Principal of the Polytechnic College for about 3 years. During his tenure as Vice-Principal and as officiating Principal Dr. D.M. Patel encouraged career advancement of teaching staff and Academic, Administrative and Financial discipline in the college which resulted in an overall improvement in teaching methodology, introduction of new branches and better infrastructure. Dilipbhai takes keen interest in social and community activities. He is associated with several societies. To mention a few, I. Manish M. Pandya currently serving as Head of Electrical Department, Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology,Limda, Waghodia. Has received his M.E. (Elect.), B.E. (Elect.)and Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE) from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Associated with the industrial reign of his field he has adorned many roles viz,Electrical Engineer, Marketing Executive, Production Engineer, R& D Engineer in many reputed industries like Transformers& Rectifiers (India)Ltd, Surat Electricity Co. Ltd and many more.His interest in the subject led him to the field of teaching to pass on his experience and expertise to the learning engineers.
