In the year 2044, the only time teenage Wade really feels alive is when he's in the virtual utopia, OASIS. Wade's devoted his life to studying the puzzles hidden within this world's digital confine, that promises massive power and fortune. But he finds himself beset by players willing to kill to take this prize. He'll have to confront the real world he's been desperate to escape in order to win.
