With the internationalization of societies across the globe, sport and physical activity are becoming increasingly important as vehicles for social integration, while sports-related approaches in German development cooperation are also intensifying. The book addresses the contribution of sport as a tool to foster intercultural competences and presents related activities from the perspective of various German actors (state, sport association, non-governmental organisation).
