Beschreibung
800x600 The conference topic "Geschichtslernen in biographischer Perspektive" (historical learning in biographical perspective) denotes a field of research that still constitutes a desideratum in history didactics. Little is known about the long-term processes underlying historical learning and the development of historical awareness. This involves institutional contexts (functions and objectives of competencies of historical learning in extracurricular learning and educational contexts), but mainly individual processes: the long-term effectiveness and orientation function of historical learning, the relevance of history in the post-school biography, dealing with one's own past in terms of identity formation, or the development of historical awareness at all ages.
